DeatschWerks endurance testing benches
Every DeatschWerks product must pass endurance testing before it reaches the public.

Every DeatschWerks product is now backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty because every product is pushed far beyond real-world conditions before it ever reaches your vehicle. At DW, validation is not a checkbox in the development process. It is the foundation of it.

Our philosophy is simple: if we are going to stand behind a product for life, it has to earn that trust first.

That commitment starts with our fuel pumps. We developed proprietary in-house endurance testing benches because nothing commercially available met the standards we demanded. Every pump is tested with fuel matched for the specific demands of the pump (gasoline, E85, methanol, ect.) at aggressive pressure levels for 1,000 continuous hours under extreme operating conditions. Ten pumps are run simultaneously and must complete the full cycle successfully. After testing is complete, each pump is disassembled and thoroughly inspected to verify it exceeds our standards for performance and durability, even after extreme use.

The same level of scrutiny applies to our injectors. Each injector platform undergoes 600 hours of continuous endurance testing at 43.5 PSI while cycling at the equivalent of more than 9,000 RPM. That equates to over 324 million cycles, simulating more than 100,000 miles of engine operation. And just like our pumps, any failure is treated as an engineering problem to solve. Every issue is analyzed, redesigned, retested, and validated until it meets the standard we require.

That process demands time, engineering, and accountability. But it is also why we can confidently back every DeatschWerks product with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Limited Lifetime Warranty FAQs

What does “limited” mean?
“Limited” means the warranty has defined terms, exclusions, and claim procedures. It covers the original purchaser and the product itself, but it does not cover things like labor, shipping to DeatschWerks, wear items, misuse, improper installation, or damage outside the product itself.
Who is covered?
The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the original purchaser only. It is not transferable to later owners of the product.
How long does coverage last?
Coverage lasts for the lifetime of the product, starting on the original date of purchase. Any exceptions would be explicitly listed in the product information.
What does the warranty cover?
If a DeatschWerks product fails to operate within manufacturer specifications, DeatschWerks will repair or replace the product free of charge, subject to the terms of the warranty.
What is not covered?
The warranty does not cover labor for diagnosis, troubleshooting, removal, or reinstallation. It also does not cover incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from product failure.
Does installation matter?
Yes. Products that are modified, improperly installed, misused, neglected, contaminated, corroded, poorly repaired, or used outside DeatschWerks recommended applications are not covered.
Are wear items included?
No. Items that seal or contain fuel, such as O-rings, gaskets, regulator diaphragms, fuel lines, and fuel fittings, are considered wear items. They should be inspected annually and replaced as needed, and they are not covered under warranty.
Do I need proof of purchase?
Yes. A dated purchase receipt, repair order, or other written proof of purchase is required to process a claim. If that is unavailable, the product manufacturing date code may be used as the original date of purchase, installation, or initial service.
How do I start a warranty claim?
A warranty claim requires a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number, a completed RMA form, and any requested supporting materials. Claims should be submitted directly to DeatschWerks unless a dealer or distributor has been specifically authorized in writing to handle the claim.
Who pays for shipping?
The customer is responsible for shipping the product to DeatschWerks. If the product is found to be defective and covered under warranty, DeatschWerks will pay return shipping back to the purchaser.
Does the warranty apply worldwide?
Yes. The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to original purchasers in the United States and in foreign countries.
Is OEM-installed equipment covered?
No. Products supplied by DeatschWerks to vehicle or equipment manufacturers for original-equipment or replacement-part installation are governed by the vehicle or equipment manufacturer’s warranty instead.
